Where to Find Budding Watchers on Pandora
Budding Watchers are environmental activities located exclusively within the Clouded Forest region. Players can spot them across sub-regions such as Cascading Stones, Cradling Pines, Stone Cloud Valley, and The Cut. There are ten total Budding Watcher locations available for players looking to discover every secret on the map.
Finding these giant fungus structures is easier if you explore dense forested zones where bioluminescent flora thrives. Searching during nighttime makes spotting their trails much simpler because the paths glow visibly in the dark. Keep an eye out for large closed mushroom caps rising from the forest floor.
How to Unlock and Solve Budding Watcher Puzzles
Unlocking a Budding Watcher requires solving a short environmental puzzle involving connected mushroom networks. Spreading out from the central giant mushroom are four distinct trails composed of small glowing fungi. Players must follow each of these four fungal pathways to their very end.
At the end of each trail sits a small mushroom checkpoint structure that you must interact with directly. Once you activate all four outer checkpoints, the central Budding Watcher structure will open up completely. You can then step inside the opened base to collect the contents stored in the Potion Basket.
Rewards and Achievement Progress
Inside each opened Budding Watcher, players will find a Potion Basket containing special consumable remedies. These items include Silent Remedy for stealth, Favorable Remedy for earning clan favor, Pheromonic Remedy to attract wildlife, or Camouflaging Remedy for reduced detection. These useful buffs greatly aid exploration and tactical encounters against RDA forces.
Unlike many static collectibles, these mycelium activities eventually reset after enough time passes in-game. This allows players to repeatedly return to solved locations to gather fresh batches of rare consumables.
